Carrots & Onions
No salad is complete without fresh crisp carrots. We grow the "Danvers" half long variety which was originally developed not far from here in Massachusetts. Danvers half long carrots are blocky and tapered, around 6" to 8" long, and very juicy. For scallions, we prefer the classic white "bunching onion" which has a bit more of bulb than other green onion varieties.
